2006 Guitarist for the Pasadena City College Studio Jazz Band, under the direction of Andrea Baker. The band performed at the Jazz Bakery, LA. Upcoming gigs include Memorial Day 2006 at the Playboy Jazz Festival, at the Pasadena Rosebowl.
2005 Guitarist for the Wise Guys big band, the official City of Montebello big band, under the direction of Art Baraja. Performances included city and community functions, private events, and a monthly gig at a swing club.
2004 - 2005 Guitarist for the PCC Jazz Combo, under the direction of trumpeter Bobby Bradford.
2000 - 2004 Solo, duo and trio jazz performances in Los Angeles area. Kim Reith Trio, Kim Reith & Dan Krimm: Reith, guitar, band-leader, composer; Dan Krimm, fretless bass; Steve Sykes, drums.
Los Angeles and Orange County venues include: Hollywood Knitting Factory, Alter-knit Lounge, Dana Point Beachhouse, California Institute of Abnormal Arts (CIA), and Buster's.
1993 - 2000 Duo, trio, and quartet jazz performances in San Diego area. As band-leader, with Groove Yard, Kim Reith Ensemble, Kim Reith Trio and Quirktet, put together pick-up jazz bands; played in bars, cafes, and restaurants. Collaborated with alto-saxophonist Maury Coles; bassist Bruce Grafrath.
1996 Started and led successful jazz jam session, Twigg's Green Room, San Diego, California.
San Diego county venues include: Mandeville Auditorium, UCSD, Twigg's Green Room, Cardiff Beachhouse, Prego's, Jake's South Bay, The Living Room (three locations), Del Mar Bookworks, Calypso Café, Café di Maria, Diedrich's, La Jolla's Café 1018, and Pannikin.

1995 University of California, San Diego. Sat in for two quarters with UCSD Big Band, under direction of trombonist/conductor Jimmie Cheatham. Two performances with big band.
